Richa’s interest in Cricket is from a very Young Age. In other words we can say that love for cricket is in her Bloodline, as her Father is a Cricket Umpire and Coach. Richa was very influenced by her Father’s Batting Skills and Cricket Journey.When she was six years old she used to participate in various Sports and accompany her Father Baghajatin’s Athletic Club where he used to play. Her father was her First Trainer.

There was no girl team in her Hometown, therefore she played with the Boys. In 2016, Richa’s Father left his Business and started looking after Richa’s Cricket profession. Richa picked up cricket when she was just nine and in 2014 got selected in the Bengal Under 19 team at the age of Eleven years. But Her father used to accompany her to every place and Cricket event.

Richa at a young age of 11 made her domestic debut for Bengal Under 19 Team in 2014.

In 2019 she was Selected in the Bengal Women’s Senior Cricket Team, she still continues to play for this team.
In 2020, Richa got selected in the Women’s T20 Challengers Team and played for the Trailblazers. During the Women’s T20 Challengers Trophy Tournament, Richa scored 98 runs in Four Matches.
