Match Summary
Bhutan’s captain ‘Thrinley Jamtsho’ won the toss and invited UAE to bat first.
First Innings
UAE started the innings with explosions and utilized powerplay. In the 7th over UAE lost their first wicket as captain ‘Muhammad Waseem’ Who was in the touch. Other batsmen of UAE failed to convert the start into big scores and lost their wickets. Muhammad Zuhaib played an explosive innings of 26 runs off 9 balls. UAE managed to get to the score of 166 runs by the end of the 20 overs.
Second Innings
Bhutan had a slow start and lost their first wicket as ‘Suprit Pradhan’ on the score of 12 runs. After that Bhutan’s batter kept losing their wickets after regular intervals. And the Bhutan’s skipper ‘Thiney Jamston’ hitted some shots but failed to tow his team to the victory. And UAE won the match by 63 runs.

History
UAE and Bhutan are not the full member of ICC, They don’t play bilateral series too frequently. So, there are not many matches between these teams. We are giving a short overview of both teams here.
UAE
UAE has been an associate member of ICC since 1990. As Achievement UAE has won the ACC Trophy four times in a row. They played their first ODI match against India at ‘Sharjah’ in 1994. And In T20I they made their debut against Netherlands. They have appeared in the World cup 2 times, first in 1996 and the second time in the 2014 T20I World Cup.
Bhutan
Bhutan became an associate member of ICC in 2017. They played their first T20I match against Nepal in 2019. They competed in the ACC trophy, but got eliminated in the early stages of the tournament.
