Match 2 (3 Dec, 2024)
In the second, Zimbabwe got the luck at their side and they decided to bat first after winning the toss. But their decision proved to be a disaster for Zimbabwe. Pakistan wrapped them up on the score of 57 runs. Again ‘Sufiyan Muqeem’ led the Pakistan bowling attack with his 5-wicket haul. While chasing a low total, Pakistan showed no patience and ended the match in the powerplay.

Match 3 (5 Dec,2024)
The third match followed the same pattern, the toss winner decided to bat first. Pakistan struggled to bat this time, Zimbabwe’s bowlers binded the batters and fall of wickets after regular intervals ended Pakistan’s innings on 132 runs. Zimbabwe started the chase with good touch but after losing some wickets. They slowed down which led the match to a thriller. Zimbabwe was able to win the match on the 5th ball of the last over. And ‘Brian Bennett’ was the hero from Zimbabwe’s side.

In the first match of the ODI Series, Pakistan invited Zimbabwe to bat first after winning the toss. The rain interrupted the play and it stopped, Pakistan got a new target of 141 runs in 21 overs. Pakistan lost their intent of winning the game. They slowed down the game which backfired. Match 2 (26 Nov, 2024)
In the second match, Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to bat first. But after losing some early wickets. Zimbabwe totally on the backfoot. Pakistan kept their bowling attack on, and wrapped up Zimbabwe under 150 runs. ‘Abrar Ahmed’ was the top wicket taker for Pakistan with 4 wickets. Pakistani batters started the innings like T20I and till the end of 19th over Pakistan won the match. ‘Saim Ayub’ became the hero of the second innings for Pakistan.

In the last ODI match, Pakistan picked to bat first after winning the toss. Pakistan completely knocked off the Zimbabwe’s bowlers. While batting first Pakistan made a humongous total of 303 runs. ‘Kamran Ghulam’ was the hero of the first innings after hitting a delightful century. The same problem repeated for Zimbabwe’s batter, they failed to convert their start into a good innings. And got all out on the score of 204 runs which led to loss of the series along the match.

Summary
Despite the new line-up Pakistan have performed extraordinarily in the last tour. However, for Zimbabwe the same story repeated. Sikander Raza again came as a lone warrior of the team. But, lack of coordination in Zimbabwe’s team resulted in another series loss against Pakistan. So far Pakistan have been dominant in all the clash ups.
