‘Mohammad Amaan’ India’s skipper won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first.
Bangladesh U-19
Pitch seemed to be difficult for batting, As Bangladesh was only able to add 17 runs in first 6 overs. Till the end of the powerplay Bangladesh lost their 2 wickets. Indian bowlers completely restricted the runs for Bangladesh. Shihab James and Rizan Hossain built a good partnership which helped Bangladesh to rebalance their innings. After their dismissals ‘Farid Hasan’ continued to add important runs in the total. In the 49 over of the game ‘Yudhajit Guha’ ended the Bangladesh’s inning on the score of 198 runs.
India U-19
India’s struggle started from the second over of the game. ‘Al Fahad’ bowled out ‘Ayush Mhatre’ to create an opening for Bangladesh. Till the end of the 5th over ‘Vaibhav Suryavanshi’ was also back to the pavilion who was struggling from the start. India continued to lose the wickets. However, some batters tried to turn the odds in India’s favor. But they failed to convert the start into a big innings. As a result India got all-out on 139 runs.

Besides the competitions India and Bangladesh U-19 teams have been in controversy. In the 2020 ICC U19 World Cup Final, Players from both sides got involved physically and started pushing each other. As per some reports Bangladeshi players started the fight by saying some abusive words. After that more of these incidents occurred during their other matches.
Summary
By winning the final Bangladesh retained the Asia Cup 2024. But, it was a complete failure from the Indian side. Because after a great bowling session for India, they already made their grip on the match in the first innings of the game. But, Indian batters completely failed to perform which led to a shameful defeat.
