• Rinku started off his Cricket Journey through his School Cricket, where he played for his School DPS, Aligarh, against the teams from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. In this Tournament, Rinku made 354 runs and took 8 wickets in total. His magnificent performance made him the player of the series, and he also received a motorbike as a gift from his School.
• In 2014, He made his Debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in a Day Match for Uttar Pradesh against Vidarbha held at Jaipur and made 84 runs off 87 balls.

Rinku, besides his Domestic and International Cricket Career, has also established a good name for himself in the IPL Tournament. And has also turned out to be one of the Emerging and Key players and has also been a very prominent player. He was one of the top young Indian players to get selected by the Kolkata Knight Riders. 

In 2017, Kings XI Punjab purchased Rinnku for his base price of Rs.10 lakhs, but Rinku did not get the chance to play in the Tournament. So his actual IPL Journey began in 2018, when he was purchased by Kolkata Knight Riders at a huge price of Rs. 80 Lakhs due to his increased demand as a result of his Good performance in the International matches. However, in that year, Rinku ended up not being a profitable player for KKR by scoring only 29 runs from the 4 games he played. But KKR still decided to retain the services of the destructive middle-order bat.

However, in 2022, Rinku was able to become a profitable player for KKR as compared to the previous year, where he scored 172 runs at an average of 174 and carried out a striking run chase against Lucknow. However, KKR lost by two runs, but Rinku made a good position and made a name for himself in the 2022 IPL. • In a T20I match between India and South Africa, Rinku hit a six that broke a glass panel in the media box at St George’s Park in Gqebera. The glass panel remained unrepaired for almost a year due to budget restrictions.
• Exclusion from the 2024 T20 World Cup squad.
• Rinku Singh was not included in the main squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup but was named among the players reserved for traveling. However, the “Impact Player” rule implemented on Rinku in the IPL 2023 made it hard for him to make his place in the main squad.
