‘Aryan Juyal’ Uttar Pradesh’s captain won the toss and decided to bat first.
Uttar Pradesh First Innings
Uttar Pradesh didn’t have a good start and lost the first wicket as ‘Abhishek Goswami’ on the ball of ‘Vidyadhar Patil’. Just after 3 balls Madhav and the captain Juyal also lost their wickets on two consecutive deliveries of the over. The series of fall of wickets continued till Uttar Pradesh wrapped up on the score of 89 runs.
Karnataka First Innings
Karnataka also lost some early wickets, They lost 2 wickets on the score of 5 runs. Captain ‘Mayank Aggarwal’ played a balanced knock of 30 runs. Along with him ‘Kl Shrijith’ rescued Karnataka’s side from sudden collapse. However, after Mayank wickets kept falling. But, Shrijith holded his position and balanced Karnataka’s innings. He scored a century and in the last stages of the innings Yashovardhan and Vidhyadhar Patil helped him to get Karnataka’s score over 250 runs.
Uttar Pradesh Second Innings
Uttar Pradesh again lost their first wicket early, but after that they totally turned around the match. Madhav Kaushi and Aryan Juyal built an exceptional partnership of 246 runs for 3rd wicket. Both players completed their centuries and led the team from front. After the dismissal of Madhav middle order batsmen continued the flow of runs for Uttar Pradesh. And in the last Saurabh Kumar also hitted a half century which helped Uttar Pradesh to get to 446 runs.
Karnataka Second Innings
Nikin Jose and Mayank Aggarwal gave a great start to Karnataka’s second innings, the added 77 runs together for the 1st wicket. But, till the score of 100 runs Karnataka lost their both openers. However, ‘Manish Pandey’ balanced the batting by playing not out 36 runs innings and the match led to another draw of the tournament.
