Manipal Tigers Vs Konark Suryas Odisha (1st Match, 20 Sep, 2024)
In the first match of the season, Manipal Tiger invited Konark Suryas Odisha to bat first. Manipal Tigers executed the bowling plan splendidly and picked early wickets. The well coordinated bowling line-up completely stopped the flow of runs. And by the end of the overs Odisha was wrapped up under 110 runs.
When Manipal came to bat, Odisha totally surprised them by picking up wickets in bunches. Manipal lost 6 wickets on the score of 38 runs, But Daniel Christian and Obus Pienaar built a good partnership which nearly brought Manipal Tigers to victory. Irfan Khan took the charge & came in to deliver the last over. Irfan took Obus Pienaar’s wicket on the last ball of the over and Konark Suryas Odisha won the match by just 2 runs.

In the second match of the season, India Capitals decided to bat first after winning the toss. India Capitalsa started the innings with an aggressive approach. But, after some early dismissals their phase got a little slow. Then middle order started the show, hitting the balls out of the ground and India Capitals reached 185 runs after 20 overs.
Toyam Hyderabad started the innings in the same way as India Capitals. By the end of the 5th over, Hyderabad made 41 runs at the loss of 1 wicket. George worker did an exceptional job as an anchor. Following him Peter Trego nearly dragged his team to the finishing line. But, Mpofu delivered the last over and defended 17 runs.

The 14th match of the tournament, Konark Suryas Odisha Vs India Capitals. India Capitals invited Konark Suryas after winning the toss. Konark Suryas lost their 2 wickets till the end of the 4th over. After that Kevin O Brien and Munaweera balanced the site. But, after their dismissals. Konark Suryas was only able to cross over 120 runs.
Konark Suryas got their first breakthrough from the 5th ball of the first over. And from then India Capitals kept losing the wicket after, Only Bharath Chipli was able to hold his wicket by the end of the innings. In the 2nd Qualifier match Konark Suyas Odisha were facing Toyam Hyderabad. Toyam Hyderabad invited Konark Suryas to bat first. Konark Suryas started the innings with good touch. But, again they lost wickets in a series. Kevin O Brien and Irfan Pathan came to rescue. They added 79 runs together, and Konark Suryas set the 156 runs target.

First Innings
Southern Super Stars lost their first wicket as Goswami in the very first over of the game. Martin Guptill and Masakadza built a good partnership for the 3rd wicket. After Guptill departed Negi continued the partnership. Masakadza played an exceptional innings by scoring 83 runs. While Negi played in the supporting role with 33 runs. And Southern Super Stars able to put 165 runs target ion board.
Second Innings
Things didn’t work for Konark Suryas from the start. Till the end of the powerplay, they lost 3 wickets including captain Irfan Pathan. In the 10 over Konark Suyas also lost their star batter, Kevin O Brien’s wicket. By the end of the 17 over Konark was on 118 for 8, and Only Yusuf Pathan was able to hold his wicket while scoring runs. He almost turned the match in the favor of Konark, But got run out on the last ball of the 20th over leading to the super over.
