Nishan was very passionate about Cricket since early Childhood. He always aspired to become a Cricketer. However, his interest for cricket and pursuing a full fledged career rose when he joined the Moratu Maha Vidyalaya. He had an Extensive growth while playing there.
Nishan’s Domestic Career
In 2018, Nishan made his First Domestic Debut by playing for the Dambulla Squad for the Super Provincial One Day Tournament.
So in the same year, he made his Domestic T20 Debut with his name listed in the Galle Squad for the T20 SLC T20 League.
In October, 2020, Nishan was signed by the Kandy Tuskers for the Inauguration Edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL).
In August, 2021 he was listed in the SLC Blues team for the SLC Invitational T20 League.
In 2022, he played in the Major League Tournament and became the Highest Run Scorer of the Tournament by Scoring 1229 runs in 15 innings by making a highest score of 300 unbeaten.
