Match Summary
‘Muhammad Waseem’ skipper of UAE won the toss and decided to bat first.
First Innings
UAE had a slow & a stable start, But ‘Ishtiaq Ahmed’ got the first breakthrough in 5th over. After Alishan dismissal captain Waseem also followed him in the next over. Both openers were back to the pavilion, Asi Khan and Rahul Chopra took the charge and built a wonderful partnership for 3rd wicket. ASif got out in the 16th over but Rahul finished the innings and UAE got 162 runs on board.
Second Innings
Saudi Arabia followed the same approach as UAE, and had a good start of the innings. ‘Simranjeet Singh Kang’ got his first wicket as ‘Faisal Khan’ in the 5th over. After the first wicket down UAE started to attack and picked 2 more wickets in next 3 overs. Captain Hassan also departed in the 15th over and UAE made their grip on the match stronger. Abdul Manan Ali tried to turn the match for Saudi Arabia, But failed to win the game for Saudi Arabia.
